‘Creating America’s favourite connecting hub’ – Great Hall Partners unveils Denver International Airport RFPs

USA. Great Hall Partners has launched its requests for proposals (RFP) for an ambitious array of new concession spaces in Denver International Airport’s Great Hall.

Potential concessionaires can now apply online for any of the initial opportunities (listed below).

“We are creating a truly memorable travel experience space for 50 retail and food & beverage (F&B) concessions,” Great Hall Partners said. The consortium pledged to make the vision of transforming the airport into America’s favourite connecting hub a reality.

As reported, Great Hall Partners is an alliance of companies selected for the development of the airport’s Great Hall revitalisation project. The consortium includes Ferrovial Airports, JLC (MJE-Loop, Capital Partners) and Saunders.

Over the next three years, the Great Hall will undergo a comprehensive redesign intended to change the way travellers and concessionaires use and inhabit this space.

“The goal is to create a travel experience that melds the culture of the city and region with new impulses, flavours and colours from around the globe; to inspire passengers to relax and to spend more time in the new airside experience,” Great Hall Partners said.

The Great Hall is located under Denver Airport’s Jeppesen Terminal’s iconic tented roof. The revamp over the next four years will see the security zone relocated and enhanced; capacity upgraded; and ageing infrastructure improved. The customer experience will be augmented through increased, improved and better-positioned concessions. Improvements include the creation of pre- and post- security concession areas.
