According to some bargain lovers, the skincare essential eradicated their sunken hollows in just a few days after trying the product for the very first time.

The cream ''is formulated with a naturally revitalising blend of ingredients and infused with Mulberry and Kiwi extracts to help brighten and smooth the eye area,'' reads the description online.

What's more, the bargain buy - which Superdrug members can bag for £4.49 - is also enriched with nourishing Sugar Beet extract.

The lightweight formula is said to leave ''the skin feeling softer and smoother and looking more youthful''.

The little blurb also claimed that beauty buffs will see results after one week of using the cream, with skin around the eye area feeling ''softer and smoother'' and more ''refreshed and energised''.

A month of regular use, meanwhile, will banish dark circles and the puffiness will be minimised.

The packaging contains 15ml of the eye brightening cream, which sells for £8.99 - however, those with the Beautycard can slash the cost to a little over a fiver.

More than a hundred people left rave reviews on the brand's website, with over 70 fans rating it with an impressive five stars.

One delighted customer, who was ''surprised to see the brightening effect'', said this was hands down ''the best eye cream'' she's so far and ''for the price as well, it's an absolute bargain''.

Urging others to not sleep on the bargain find, the Superdrug shopper wrote: ''I use this twice a day, morning and night. Defo give this a try if you suffer from dark circles and puffy eyes!''

Someone else chimed in: ''I started using this a couple of days ago, and love it so far.

''A little goes a long way. I use my ring finger to gently tap in. It leaves my under eye feeling refreshed and looking brighter.''

Another person also raved about how little you need to use, writing: ''My eye area instantly feels and looks amazing. They look much smoother with a little glow added to them.

''Even waking up in the morning they look bright still.

''Not sure this does much but for the price it does ok as an add on,'' reckoned one beauty lover.
