Kim is a well loved actor and comedian, who created the character Col'n Carpenter on The Comedy Company.
Known for his dodgy ways, his heavy Aussie accent, and refusing to pronounce the letter 'I' in his name, Kym's most popular character on the sketch show was a cult classic.
As a result, the actor went on to star in two seasons of his own show, Col'n Carpenter, between 1990–1991.
In the mid 1990s, Kym starred in another comedy series, Full Frontal.
