Nervous gunman in beauty mask on Eagle Rock robbery spree
An armed man wearing a women's cosmetic mask has committed seven robberies in Eagle Rock in two weeks.

EAGLE ROCK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Claiming an itchy trigger finger and wearing a women's cosmetic mask, an armed thief is terrorizing Eagle Rock with seven robberies in two weeks.

The suspect threatens to shoot store employees after a short countdown if they don't immediately provide him with cash.

The latest robbery was Tuesday night at a business near York Boulevard and 46th Street.

"He said I give you three seconds. Give me all the money you have," says a service station owner named "Rouben" who didn't want to use his last name.

He covers his face with a white paper mask that is typically used is cosmetic facials.

At the Thai Eagle Rock restaurant, the gunman was just as urgent.

"He is gonna count it up. Five, four, he gonna shoot me,"says the restaurant employee.

LAPD detectives say the gun likely is an older model revolver. His demeanor is urgent and nervous.

Investigators say the man is in his late 20s or early 30s, stands about 5 feet 5 and weighs 200 pounds. He wears new white athletic shoes with blue laces.

He is visible on surveillance video stepping out of the passenger side of a Silver Nissan Sentra or similar vehicle, an indication he may be getting help from someone else.

Anyone with information is asked to contact robbery detectives at LAPD's Northeast Station at (323) 561-3472.
