You might think you're able to say the names of all those fancy beauty brands, but there's a few that throw even the best of us.

While some look easy enough to articulate, as it turns out they can be total tongue twisters or worse - phonetically impossible to pronounce.

In a bid to make sure you always sound smart no matter where you shop, FEMAIL has put together a guide to help you always properly pronounce the names of your favourite brands.

Bioré

Pronunciation: Bee-ORE-ay

Bioré is the only major skin product manufacturer that places pore care above all other areas of skin care.

Using ingredients such as salicylic acid, which penetrates the follicle and tightens pores, the Bioré range is capable of fighting against pore problems in the short and long-term.

As an aside, while the name Bioré may sound as if it belongs to a French beauty label, the brand is a subsidiary of the Japanese cosmetics company Kao Corporation.

The New York-based brand Briogeo is revered for it's embrace of natural products for their hair formulations.

Its range is free from sulphates, parabens, phthalates, silicones, DEA and synthetic colour.

The brand is also 'green' focused. Not only is it packaging recyclable but it also uses recycled glass.

And Briogeo products are cruelty-free, vegan and mostly gluten free, according to product information.

Bvlgari may nod to its Latin heritage as a stylistic choice, but to be clear it's said BULL-gur-ee.

The designer label is a luxury Italian brand known for its jewellery, watches, fragrances, accessories and leather goods.

The brand has dressed some of the most fashionable celebrities from Rihanna, Zendaya, to actress Laura Harrier.

It also favours stars for its ambassadorial roles; this year it named Bella Hadid as the face of its brand.

The company Byredo was founded by Ben Gorham in Stockholm in Sweden in 2006. It focuses on quality and all their products are made in Sweden.

Their current line includes perfumes, home fragrances, body care products and accessories.

According to product information, the unique perfume range is inspired by the founder's 'fragrant memories' and experiences from his past.

British beauty favourite, formerly known for its nail polishes, now offers a pigment-packed long-wearing cosmetics range.

Recently, the brand set the beauty world on fire with its Glitter Flip liquid lipstick.

The lipstick goes on as a matte colour, then once you press your lips together it transforms into a glittering statement.

'The product delivers a big, bold Donna Summer pout, sans loose sparkle all over your face, plus it's long-wearing and comfortable,' product information reads.

This Korean skincare brand incorporates ingredients such as snail mucin, yeast ferment, and skin-renewing chemical exfoliants which it says transforms the skin.

'The moment your skin meets COSRX, you can expect more tomorrow,' a product statement reads.

Its beauty claim to fame is Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patches ($7). These are little stickers you put over a blemish just as it's coming to head.

Pronunciation: Dip-tee-k

Diptyque is a Paris-based luxury goods company that produces a high-end line of scented candles, perfumes, face and body care.

Although a little on the pricey side, Diptyque produces are beautifully presented signature 'Oval' packaging and long-lasting. 

It has also recently been revealed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry enlisted the help of this cult-favourite in the form of scented candles for their special day.

While it's not known exactly what scents the couple chose, it has been reported the candles were chosen to add a fragrance the chapel the couple were married in - as well as scent the rooms they used to get ready.

Glossier products tend to be a much-loved favourite of beauty editors worldwide.

The brand originally started as a blog Into The Gloss, one that got such a great response, it enabled its founder Emily Weiss to branch out into cosmetics.

Famed for its minimal aesthetic and achingly hip New York vibe, the Glossier range is loved by young shoppers everywhere.

This Australian spa brand has been on beauty shelves since 1985.

It is known for its use of natural ingredients and is sold in more than 19 countries around the world.

Jurlique's range of hydrating mists, which include a lavender and rose infusion, is considered a must-have addition to any makeup kit.

Australian makeup artist, Allison Boyle (who counts celebrities such as Miranda Kerr among her clients) said the brand is one of her favourites.

'Jurlique is a favourite. I love their Lavender Silk Finishing Powder and Lavender Hydrating Mist and they also do a great hand cream,' she told PopSugar.    

According to the Jurlique website, its rosewater balancing mist is it's number one best-seller globally.
