  • Contains a Nobel prize-winning ingredient, a carbon molecule called fullerene
  • The sellout formula, devised in South Korea, billed as a 'multitasking treatment'

Beauty enthusiasts are scrambling to get their hands on a sellout skin firming treatment as it lands in the UK for the first time.

The J.One 'jelly pack' (£20 for 30ml) is the bestselling product at cosmetics giant Sephora, with four bottles being snapped up every minute - that's one every 15 seconds.

The sellout formula, devised in South Korea, is billed as a 'multitasking treatment, mask, and primer' and promises to deliver 'extreme hydration'.

Comprising a jelly-like texture, it contains fragmented hyaluronic acid which penetrates deep into the skin layers to lessen the visibility of lines and maximise elasticity.

It even contains a Nobel prize-winning ingredient; fullerene, a carbon molecule which acts as a powerful antioxidant.

The scientists behind its discovery - Robert F. Curl Jr., Sir Harold W. Kroto and Richard E. Smalley - were awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for their work in 1996.

According to J.One, the addition of fullerene provides protection for the skin from the everyday environmental onslaught, while collagen-boosting peptides increase collagen production and boost firmness.

The formula is so powerful, the J.ONE Jelly Pack has become know as the ‘Corset Mask’.

Indeed, so popular is the product that when it appeared on a Korean TV shopping channel it shifted 5 million units over the course of just three shows.
