Model settles with agency for stiffing her on beauty shot sales

The war is over between a leggy European model and her former employers, who she sued for selling her image to a cosmetics giant without her consent.

Marina Asenova settled her suit against MC2 Models Thursday, just hours before the four-year-old case was slotted for opening statements at Manhattan Civil Court.

“The matter was settled amicably,” her attorney, Tom Mullaney, told The Post.

Details of the settlement were not disclosed.

Asenova, a willowy brunette, had already left New York for Europe when she returned and realized her face was splashed across boxes of Coty Cosmetics hair care products.

The Bulgarian beauty filed a lawsuit against MC2 shortly after, citing breach of contract and unjust enrichment, and charging that 80 percent of the cash the company has pocketed for the sale should be hers.

The agency also allegedly refused to disclose how much they sold her shots for, and refused to pony up their contract with Coty and its predecessor, Sally Hansen Cosmetics.

The glowing model declined to comment on her windfall after leaving court.
